Quarterfinal time for Beach Handball

The 2nd day of Beach Handball at the 3rd Mediterranean Beach Games
“Heraklion 2023” has ended.

In the men’s tournament after the group stage, tomorrow’s four
quarter-finals have been formed.

Croatia overcame Italy 2-1 and as the first of the 1st group will play
against Morocco, while the Azzurri will play against Tunisia.

In Group B, after a 2-1 win against Morocco, Greece took 2nd place and
will face Cyprus, who won 2-0 against Kosovo, who will find in the “8”
Spain, who made it “3 out of 3” against Tunisia .

In the women’s category, Greece and Spain are the only teams that have
the absolute with three wins in as many games. The title holder had an
easy task (2-0) against Tunisia, while Spain was in no danger (2-0)
against Croatia. Portugal achieved an important victory with 2-0
against Italy, climbing to 3rd place. Tomorrow’s schedule is dominated
by the Greece-Spain and Portugal-Spain matches that will decide the
crossovers in the semi-finals.
